As a Data architect, you will be responsible for architecting & engineering data pipelines for enterprise data platform, democratizing datasets, enabling advanced analytics capabilities, integrating data from various systems, and applications. You will work as part of a product team to rapidly design, secure, build, test and release new data enablement capabilities. The role will collaborate closely with other data engineers, architects, consultants and other internal team members & customers
Required skills
· Minimum of 5 years of experience with Data warehousing methodologies and modelling techniques
· Minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL, data integration & data modeling
· 2+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud technologies such as Snowflake, GCP, Azure, AWS, etc.
· Strong experience in working with heterogeneous datasets in building and optimizing data pipelines, pipeline architectures and integrated datasets using various data integration technologies (ETL/ELT, data replication/CDC, message-oriented data movement, API design, etc.)
Preferred skills
· Experience working with Databricks (or Spark)
· Experience working with Qlik technologies (Replicate and Compose)
Experience working with Snowflake data platform
· Experience with any scripting languages, preferably Python
Interpersonal skills
· Strong leadership, partnership and communication skills
· Ability to coordinate with all levels of the organization to design and deliver technical solutions to business problems
· Ability to influence without authority
