Position: Client UX/LINUX Engineer
Location: Davidson, NC
Job Type : 12+ Months Contract Role
Only USC's OR GC's
(If H4 EAD's then need to share VISA and Passport Copy)

Role- Client UX/LINUX/AWS -- L3 Experience in Client UX and L2 Experience in Linux ((RHEL; CentOS; OEL; Ubuntu) ) & AWS
Key Roles and responsibilities-

Acquire knowledge and detailed understanding on customer's landscape and architecture
Validate Scope of Work and Due Diligence of Data and identify gaps
Validate RLS and identify skill gaps
Gather required and detailed information and develop SMTD with complete understanding of customer's architecture.
Responsible for giving reverse knowledge transfer to BAU and getting sign-off from customer and internal stakeholders
Effectively articulate risks and get sign-off on SMTD, Risk Register and other technical / operational documents. Propose risk mitigation plan and options.
Participate in project planning and prepare MPP
Responsible for implementing best practice, hardening, service assurance rollout
Knowledge and ability to identify the technical and operational risks well in advance and make recommendations of solution options
Changes management in customer devices for remote management of devices and onboarding of Monitoring tool
Self-driven and self-motivated individual who can lead from the front, take end-to-end ownership transition and smooth Go Live of services from the perspective of People, Process and Technology.

Technical Skills (Must have):-

Should have minimum of 12+ years of hands-on experience Client UX and L2 Knowledge on Linux (CentOS; OEL; RHEL; Ubuntu)
Solid experience in Client-UX and Linux product engineering and maintain software / hardware life cycle management.
Experience in Architecting and Solution of complex Client-UX and Linux infrastructure design including Data Centre.
Proficient in Client-UX and Linux design and Implementation.
Good Experience in Linux (CentOS; RHEL; OEL; Ubuntu) design and Implementation.
Able to work with OEMs to maintain product life cycle, important patch, and firmware updates etc.
Experience on patch management for complete Linux Client-UX and Linux infrastructure.
Good understanding of various tools that are used to perform patching of Client-UX and Linux servers
Experience in Innovation and transformation of new/enhanced technologies.
Proficiency in working with Cloud Solutions (AWS and/or Azure)
Good understanding of various Clusters Solutions such as Service Guard Cluster, PowerHA, REDHAT Cluster, High Performance Computing (HPC), GPFS etc.
Good Experience in Satellite Server Installation, Configuration and Administration
Good understanding of various backup and storage technologies.
Should have experience/exposure to the latest configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chefs and Puppet.
Project Methodology knowledge and experience participating in project settings vs operations settings along with a fundamental understanding of ITIL.
Strong documentation skills
