• How many microservices did you develop and are functioning in production?
• How many transactions per second do the microservices that you've developed process?
• What is the difference between monolith and microservices architecture?
• Do you have experience in spring boot?
• Why did you use spring boot?
• Do you have experience in Cloud based technologies?
• Do you have experience in Kubernetes?
• Do you have experience with OpenShift?
• How do you secure microservices?
• Do you have experience with Jenkins?

Their team is responsible for service enablement of digital identity.

• They help in the facilitating the authentication (password, biometrics, usernames, etc) and all capabilities that go into the customer experience of authentication
• This consists of all different type of applications around the bank
• 5 to 6 different vendor projects + their own in-house technology. This all pulls together to offer the best full end to end experience

Years of experience:

• Around 8 years is what the manager is really looking for. If they have been working in a highly available production environment without the 8 years and can answer the questions below that would also be fine

Questions to screen candidates with (get an idea of if they are well versed or just dabbling):

1. How many microservices have they built?
2. Have they successfully got through the whole process of putting these into a production environment?
3. What is the volume they are running at production?

Location:

• Remote is totally fine for this role
• If they would prefer to work onsite it will be Pittsburgh only as an available city
