JOB DESCRIPTION:
Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Demonstrate engineering and architectural expertise with Microsoft Azure PAAS, FAAS and IAAS stack of services on two or more Consulting and Delivery engagements. 2. Architect and Design high performance, scalable and secure cloud native and hybrid cloud applications, APIs and Microservices with .NET in Azure. 3. Provide technical thought leadership, publish point of views, perhaps blogs, and/or participate in Microsoft-led events as an SME. 4. Use Cloud design best practices and design patterns to build scalable solutions. 5. Architect solutions for Cloud Modernization and Migrations of Portfolios including patterns and approaches for incremental move to cloud, data modernization and working in hybrid cloud environment 6. Leverage Azure storage and messaging services such as Service Bus Topics, Event Hubs, Azure Blob and Table Storage, Azure SQL and perhaps Cosmos DB. 7. Integrate Identity management and modern authentication and authorization protocols such as OIDC, OAuth 2.0 using Azure Active Directory, Azure AD B2C 8. Plan and design data movement and data virtualization from legacy databases to modern cloud native storage solutions such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB etc. using Azure Data Factory, Databricks. 9. Implement Serverless Functions, Logic Apps and Azure Data Factory Pipelines for event driven processes and integrations 10. Integrate CI/CD and continuous testing practices with Azure DevOps into the engineering lifecycle 11. Provision Dev/Test/Prod Infrastructure as code using Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templates and/or Terraform. 12. Design & Build Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and Release Management workflows. 13. Deploy infrastructure, applications and software-defined networking through CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOps 14. Recommend best practices for Azure DevOps repos and branch policies. 15. Define and Implement the configuration of Azure PAAS and IAAS services for high availability, data redundancy, data loss prevention, site recovery and resilience 16. Define and implement the configuration of Azure PAAS and IAAS services for high throughput and scale with capacity planning, load balancing strategies 17. Define and implement the security architecture to ensure data security at rest and in transit, application security, key management, identity management, authentication and authorization with OIDC and OAuth2, infrastructure security with Azure VNets, NSGs, UDR, etc. 18. Implement observability patterns using Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights and Log Analytics Workspace.
