Tableau Developer with Tableau Desktop Certified Associate certification

6 Months (can be extended)

Remote

 

Looking for 7 years' experience

Tableau Desktop Certified Associate certification is a MUST

 

Key responsibilities:

 

• Work closely with stake holders, gather & analyze requirements
• Creating mockup / wireframes report and demonstrating them to business users for the feedback
• Understand the client's existing reports and data management environments, ask the right questions
• Understanding the Key performance Indicators and data to provide better insights from reports
• Create optimized reports and Tableau data sources with appropriate extract refresh (Incremental / Full) types
• Work on change requests to reports or datasets built previously
• Implementing best practices while developing the reports and documenting them as necessary
• Develop ad-hoc reports as and when required without impacting on going work
• Develop required reporting views, aggregated tables etc.
• Suggesting better visualizations, metrics by demonstrating the benefits

Required Skills:           

• Hands on expertise with developing and publishing Tableau reports/Dashboards
• Good understanding of reporting models, data warehouse concepts
• Knowledge on Tableau server maintenance tasks like adding users and creating projects, enabling alerts etc.,
• Expertise on writing calculations for KPI and good understanding of LOD calculation in Tableau
• Understanding of SQL databases, views, aggregations
• Knowledge on performance optimization of the report queries and reports
• Experience of sharing the reports securely with users
• Tableau Desktop Certified Associate certification will be beneficial
