Technology Architect – Job Description
Provide technical consulting and advice to projects during the analysis and design phases of projects
- Promote architecture principles, patterns, standards and guidelines across projects and program
- Provide feedback on effectiveness of the target solution architecture
- Produce design artifacts
- Socialize and communicate key architecture and design decisions with relevant architecture and design stakeholders
- Work with customer/project team to break business and technical requirements into measurable units of work to be executed by the community.
- Work in an agile, TDD, CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) environments
- Advise on approach to solution design and recommend alternative approaches where required
- Drive technical design and solve customer solutions at an architectural level on a variety of platforms by identifying good design patterns.
- Decompose technical designs and solutions into consumable challenges and tasks. This includes high level interface design and creating specifications for each challenge.
- Ability to manage and execute git and the git flow process including branching, pull requests and merge conflicts
- Acts as primary day-to-day point of contact for the customer and community for technical questions.
- Experience operating within the multiple layers of an application stack (both front and back)
- Well versed in all aspects of the software development life cycle.
Technology skill set
· .NET stack/Web API/REST/Micro services/Angular/Typescript/SSO and deep design expertise.
- .Net 4.5 and above with experience on MVC, WebAPIs (Must), SQL (Must) & Knowledge on NoSQL (Nice to Have) like Mongo, Cosmos. etc
- Azure or any other cloud knowledge from Application standpoint like Event Grid (Must), Service Principle (Must), Storage Accounts (Must), Function Apps (Must), Key Vault (Must), Kubernetes(Desired)
- Should have worked as an Architect for minimum 2 years (We don't want budding Architects) (Must)
- Strong exposure towards solutioning and designed few solutions real time in any of the cloud platform (Must)
- Microservices Architecture Exposure (Must)
- TOGAF or Equivalent certification (Must) where they would have got exposed to fundamentals around Performance, Security, Cross Cutting Concerns. etc
- Designing applications for cloud infrastructure - Windows Azure – PaaS services
- DevOPS, Continuous Integration & Delivery and Automation experience across distributed systems and applications.
- Good Understanding of .Net framework and Eco system tools
- Strong experience in producing design artifacts using UML
- Strong experience in API contract design using Open API standards
- Build Tools and Configurations (VSTS)
- Strong in Git or other version control systems
