Scrum Master. Location: Santa Clara. - For the workstream/area of assignment (usually 3-4 squads):
- Drive the squads to successfully deliver (“make it show up”)
- Own the delivery cadences, communication and progress reporting
- Provide insight into what works and doesn’t, to inform Toolkit project (led by Andrew/Kate)
- Assist with coordinating and keeping key cross-functional stakeholders informed and engaged
- Specific responsibilities/activities
- Facilitate the planning and definition of OKRs by the squads, and their plans against those
- Own and drive the iterative delivery of the product roadmaps in each area - ensuring teams deliver, are accountable to shifts in timelines,
- Support resource planning, including to determine when extra help is needed, and to coordinate cross-functional assistance across multiple squads/communities
- Define and lead delivery cadences including backlog grooming, card writing, estimation, work progression and testing
- Help the team improve and communicate better as needed through collaborative practices including standup, retros, etc
- Deliver high-level reporting and insight about how the squads are tracking to Product/Engineering leaders - including velocity, progress against intended deliverables, risks and roadblocks, support needed
- Provide feedback on how teams are working today, and what works/doesn’t on improving, into the “RDC Toolkit” project
