Developer Position: Application Developer Java: Cloud Microservices
Skills:
Java, Spring Framework/Spring Cloud, Microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka NoSQL Database like Marklogic, Kafka topics and Configuration, MongoDB, Hazelnut/Redis Cache, Authorization and Authentication Patterns (Zuul), Unit testing (JUnit) and Logging (Lombok), Experienced in Debugging and Debugging techniques / Tools
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in custom application development on open source technologies (It should not include any experience in support-only projects)
Very good knowledge of Microservice Architecture, Cloud-Native Application Development, Containerization, Event-Driven Architecture
Ability to write efficient and quality Java code for high volume applications
Ability to triage the performance issues and identify the fixes
Ability to articulate the problem statement and the various options to address the solution
Must have the experience to deliver custom applications from design to warranty support
Contribution to the open source community would be added advantage.
Experience working on UI Technologies like React.js, Node.js is an added advantage
Strong Understanding of Kafka messaging and workflow and the consumption of Kafka topics.
Strong researching and requirement gathering skillset
Experience restful API development an architecture
Experience with modern secure coding practices
Experience in FinTech-- specifically if we are searching outside of IBM.
Experience in Micro service development.
Experience in builds and deployment.
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Strong problem-solving skills.
