Roles & Responsibilities
Existing code analysis , redesign. Associates will look what is in there, performance tuning to reduce CPU consumption by Mainframe.
• Modernize mainframe applications
• Analyse, trace, extract and document business rules embedded in Mainframe programs, third-party utilities, and other data manipulation products and produce detailed program and JCL specifications
• Understanding current Mainframe solutions including COBOL, JCL, complex DB2 and Teradata SQL's, programs and flows and work with the users and business teams to correlate the same with how the systems support the current business
• Responsible for the management of all aspects of data covering a scope that spans the full information management lifecycle from data acquisition, data cleansing, transformation, classify and storage to presentation, distribution, security, privacy and archiving
• Design, document, performance tune and coordinate desired changes to legacy modules
• Analyse, document current job schedules in Zeke and their dependencies
• Test case reviews and ensure code developed meets the requirements
• Analyse and estimate feasibility and compatibility with other programs and projects
• Work proactively, independently and across teams to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks
• Providing expertise in technical analysis of mainframe jobs and working closely with team members to transform to new tech stack.Sincerely Yours,
