This is a 1 year long position, the client holds the right to hire on this individual after one year, the max rate is 52/hr, any candidates submitted must be willing to relocate to the Harrisburg, PA area when covid numbers go down. Dev Ops Developer
Location: Harrisburg
Remote to start but then required to be onsite (non-negotiable)

DevOps part: Need full stack.net, redis, SQL, Hangfire, React with top notch troubleshooting. These are the top must haves from the manager.
Our client’s portfolio includes critical applications that support online learning for their school community. Numerous integrations exist to provide content depth and variety to our online learning application. They are building an engineering team that will:
• Use best practice principles to ensure our software is delivered in a timely structured manner.
• Employ devops tools and processes to improve software quality and enable us to increase the frequency of releases.
• Create a team with extensive expertise to better support applications and systems that are important to the daily operations.
• Collaborate with researchers, content strategists, and designers to develop software that considers the families the technology supports.
As a member of the development team you will be designing and building the future of our online learning experience. This position will report to the Director of Software Development and collaborate extensively with other departments within the organization.
Technical knowledge:
• Deep understanding of the modern web platform and common architectural solutions
• Server-side programming languages such:
o React JavaScript
o .Net Core
o ASP
o Node JS
o Websockets
o T-SQL
• Hangfire
• Jenkins
• Redis Sentinel
• Command line and shell scripts
• Web application security concerns and ways to mitigate them
• Git, or similar version control systems
• SQL, and usage of relational databases such as Oracle, MSSQL
• Windows hosting environment (IIS)
• Server administration
• Web application load testing
• Automated test/deployment pipelines
• API design and development
