Professional Summary
• 10 years of experience as an MS-SQL database Architect from one of the Major Financial Banks.
• Provide technical leadership for the architecture, design and operational support of the Bank's MS-SQL Database Systems and its associated technologies to meet requirements of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Always On AG, Clustering, consistent performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead and participate in initiatives with the Business, Applications and Technology Infrastructure teams to design and deploy Database environments hosting core in-house transactional payment processing and 3rd party vendor systems.
• Design redundant systems and policies for disaster recovery and archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of storage appliances and stored data assets.
• Plan, design, and analyze the agency's Database and Storage infrastructure according to best practices, while ensuring high levels of data quality and availability.
• Overall capacity planning, backup and restore process design, performance analysis, and developing data disaster recovery plans.
• Design, plan and lead the implementations of solutions using Database technologies and its functional capabilities based on business requirements while effectively integrating into existing Database Infrastructure, smoothly transition knowledge of the solutions to the members of Database Services team for deployment and operation.
• Design, architect, Install and configure relevant network components to ensure Enterprise database infrastructure as well as database consistency and integrity.
• Provide technology mentorship and support for escalated incidents and problems to Database Services team members.
• Conduct research and make recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
• Establish appropriate end-user database access control levels.
• Interact with agencies and internal department heads to determine needs to fulfill executive management project plans/priorities.
• Excellent knowledge on database transaction, performance tuning and security audits;
• Excellent knowledge of SAN, clustering, encryption like TDE.
• In-depth knowledge Multiple Database architectures (Oracle, MS SQL).
• Advanced skill, documentation, and overall windows 2008/2012/2016 OS.
• Advanced skill, documentation and multiple in RHEL OS versions.
• Experience working with Multiple Storage Solutions, Netapp.
• Knowledge of Cloud solutions MS Azure.
