• Good experience in testing of Data warehouse and Big Data applications
• Good exposure and should be able to do data analysis, data validation, data verification, data cleansing, data completeness, data integrity, and data mismatch identification
• Expertise in test planning, test lead activities, authoring of test requirements and test cases, peer reviews, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), test execution, defect reporting and tracking
• Strong inter-personnel and communication skills with an ability to grasp new things quickly
• Experience in leading small teams with Onshore and Offshore model
• Experience with testing and deploying Big Data and non-relational solutions on Hadoop platform and Spark engine
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components viz HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Flume, Sqoop, Oozie, Spark, and Zookeeper
• Basic programming experience with JAVA, PYTHON and Unix shell scripting
• Expertise in writing SQL Queries/ Hive queries
• Exposure to Agile delivery
• Good communication skills

Required Skills: Asp.net, C#, MVC, SQL server, Team leading capabilities

Role: Hadoop Tester/Data Engineer (AWS + Spark)
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: Long Term
JD:
Ability to Analyze Design Develop Test and Implement detailed software application modules and systems to specific client requirement using Agile Methodology
Work Closely with Business customers to understand the business functional requirement and converting it to detailed technical design document
Should be able to code in Scala or Python using Spark
Should have sound experience in performance Tuning of Spark based project
Ability to work on AWS service like EMR EC2 S3 RDS ELB and should understand concept related to Security Groups IAM role VPC
Ability to write and understand SQL with various joins and window functions
Ability to perform Code review and find out issue and suggestion to improve code performance
Ability to write and understand shell script
Must to have technical skills
· Spark AWS Database Snowflake preferred
· List out all good to have technical skills good to have Real time Streaming knowledge using Kafka along with some DevOps skills
· List out required soft skills at least 3-4 yrs experience in Unix Scala Python SQL Jenkins Git Jira
· Call out educational qualifications if any particular Bachelors or Master
· Personnel Qualifications Experience interfacing with business users and understanding their requirements
· Ability to learn and implement new and different technologies Strong teamwork skills
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
