Role: DevOps/Cloud with Kubernetes (K8s) (Kubernetes certification preferred)
Location: Mountain View, CA

Duration: Long term- Contract

 

Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

�         10 years of professional software development experience or 8 years

�         3 years of technical leadership experiences in software development.

�         Experience in K8s, especially in stateful applications

�         3 years of experience in databases technology.

�         Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.


Preferred qualifications:

�         Experience building relational databases and applications such as Relational Databases (Postgres, MYSQL), No-SQL Databases (Cassandra, MongoDB),  messaging queues (Kafka) and K-V stores (Redis).

�         Experience building storage based databases backup applications is a plus

�         Experience with designing, building, and supporting highly available cloud Infrastructure products.

 

Deliverables 

 

1.       'Backup for GKE' template (code + K8s yaml files) for Relational Databases (Postgres, MYSQL), No-SQL Databases (Cassandra, MongoDB ),  messaging queues (Kafka) and K-V stores (Redis).

2.       Testing and documentation for each application template: application backup/restore workflow and operations, deployment and  error handling

3.       OSS ContainerNotifier development -  (implementation, testing)

4.       OSS VolumeSnapshot Validation Webhook E2E testing (design, implementation, testing)
