Position1: Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Harrison, NY
Duration: 6+ Months
Responsibilities
- Design and develop web user interfaces and APIs using Java/JavaScript/Spring/Angular technologies.
- Develop application code, write unit tests and integration tests using Junit/Spock/Jasmine/Karma.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, UX Design teams and downstream systems.
- Build cloud-native applications using container technologies like Docker and deploy in OpenShift/AWS EKS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar.
- Deep knowledge of development and testing best practices in Java and JavaScript technologies.
- Strong expertise with HTML, JavaScript, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
- Good understand of creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components in Angular or React.
- Good understanding of AJAX, JavaScript DOM manipulation techniques, JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks and SPA applications.
- Experience using JavaScript tools like Node.js, Webpack, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, JSLint, etc.
- Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD task. Creating E2E test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor (or a well-reasoned alternative).
- Good understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
- Knowledge of Java EE technologies, Spring framework (i.e. Core, Security, MVC).
- Experience with build automation using Ant or Maven or Gradle.
- Experience with Open Source integration frameworks such as Spring integration, GraphQL, Kong, Apache Camel or Mule ESB.
- Preferred experience with Cloud and container technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, EKS
- Preferred experience with Spring WebFlux, RxJS or any such reactive framework
- Preferred experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI or ElectricFlow.
- Database experience - Oracle SQL/PLSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, RDS, DynamoDB is a plus
- Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc. and preferably SAFe.
- Preferable to have Unix shell scripting knowledge.
- Working experience of iterative and incremental development process.
Good interpersonal and communication skills is key.
Position2: Java Solution/Enterprise Architect
Location is Piscataway NJ / Harrison NY
6+ Months
Experience:
At-least 15 years in development with a strong background of 5~6 years Architectural experience in various enterprise wide applications.
Responsibility:
1. Active Involvement in process of building new IT strategy for client. That involves meetings, knowledge sharing / brain storming sessions, paper presentation etc.
2. Preparing and publishing various reports for the C level executives of the company regarding application platform development and current and future state.
3. Designing of new Enterprise application that should accommodate existing application inventory.
4. Provide consultation to Business Head, IT Head on strategic planning and decision making for new application development for different LOBs, different devices or platforms.
5. Design and provide architecture diagrams whenever needed for any application.
Primary Skills:
1. Expertise in Java and Java Enterprise technologies stack. That includes Java, Sprint MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernet, Struts, etc.
2. Experience with embeded servers such as Embeded TomCat
3. Experience with servers such as WebLogic, JBoss
4. Experience with webservices, RESTFul, SOAP, JAX-RS, ESB
5. Experience with build tools like Gradle, Maven, ANT
6. Experience with advance Java script frameworks Angular 6.0/5.0/4.0 7. Experience with TDD and BDD 8. Experience with Source Control systems such as GitHub, SVN
9. Databases like Oracle, SQL Server, Mongo DB
10. Good hands-on skills in Single Page Application (SPA) development using Advanced JavaScript frameworks, ASP.net Web APIs, WCF, No SQL databases like Mongo DB
11. Good knowledge on Continuous Development with Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and tools such as Jenkins 12. Excellent knowledge about design and implementation of applications for Cloud, specifically AWS and preferred knowledge of MS Azure.
13. Exposure to Enterprise Architecture framework such as, Zachman, TOGAF
