Job description:
- Experience in building media applications on Android / iOS platforms
- Proficient in core java, kotlin, xml and software development tools - git, jira
- Strong understanding of core android fundamentals - activities, views, intents, services, fragments, Android Manifest, android lifecycle events
- Proficient in testing, debugging and using android support libraries.
- Develop Mobile, CE device and STB applications in Video domain using Java, and J2ME languages.
- Utilize various Digital Rights Management systems, obfuscation and encryption to protect user information and content.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript .
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
- Knowledge of Node.js, redux and frameworks available for it (express, swagger,...) to build RESTful APIs
- knowledge of Python and related frameworks
- Knowledge of Dot Net development language (.Net core is an added advantage) to build back-end web services
- Knowledge of AWS services, EC2 instance, API gateway, Lamda, S3, Cloud Watch,
- Knowledge of Google services like big query, analytics, firebase services
- knowledge of C++ and cross compilation to work on multiple platform devices.
