Job Description
Essentially, they are standing up a new team to move existing mainframe/ETL processes for Workplace into AWS. Ultimately, all the data will play into a new Advisor Managed Accounts tool, allowing the advisors to opt in/out of various TRP-managed funds. While they’re technically classifying this as enhancement work, it will be a bit more involved than the normal process. Most of 2020 will revolve around getting the team up to speed and working out the backlog. They’re expecting to hit the ground running in 2021 and anticipate this role will be a long-term need. In regards to the Snaplogic, Michel knows it’s a newer tool so there’s no expectation for someone to come in knowing the tool in and out. They will likely look into training for the team members who will need to use it on a daily basis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Well-rounded development experience in both backend and frontend development is preferred. Can be stronger in one area but it will be a benefit to have experience in all tiers of development.
