UX Designer -Remote role. (Need SR Profiles)

Job Title:  UX Designer   with Figma

Duration: 5 months

Location: Remote

 

Experience in healthcare with accessibility or user-centered design would be helpful. This role will work REMOTE during Covid.

 End customer: Ascension


  • Manager is looking to assemble a consumer "best in class" series experience for Ascension end-users (Candidates with web apps experience only are not strong enough)
  • Must have modern native iOS and Android app design that conforms to Apple HIG and Android Material Design
  • Must have designed native Apple HIG apps, Android apps
  • iOS/Android Frontend Engineering
  • Must have designed more than one app in both Android and iOS
  • Figma
  • Familiar with Human-computer interaction, and accessibility
  • Working with product owner and dev team to ensure designs meet user needs and are completed in support of near-term dev iterations
  • Team stand-ups
  • Experience in healthcare with accessibility or the user-centered design would be helpful
  • Candidates must provide a UX Design portfolio prior to interview consideration

Daily Duties

  • Candidates will be required to have an Ascension laptop and access Ascension network remotely during COVID
  • UX Design
  • Candidate must have familiarity with Figma
  • Candidate must have experience working on a dev team that works and releases work in an iterative fashion (Agile)
  • Recommend candidate have experience and familiarity with accessibility and user interaction design to support minimal healthcare industry standards
  • Recommend candidate have a servant-leader and collaborative work ethic to align to client's mission and organizational culture
  • Recommend candidate have the ability to speak up for UX design standards, avoiding skipping steps for the sake of deadlines.. Sharing the importance of planning ahead and taking time to produce quality designs for the dev team in a reasonable timeframe.
