Job Description: Java Backend Senior Developer
Location: Hartford, CT
Possible 3 Month CTH
 
•             Minimum 10 years of experience in the role of a software engineer.
•             At least four years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Spring boot, Web Services
•             Provide technical support and guidance to peers and Product Owners.
•             Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and collaborate with QAs to develop testing processes, frameworks, and automation strategies.
•             Skillset in building APIs using API Gateway and Lambda
•             Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, Business Process Innovation, Java, Spring Microservices, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
•             Understanding and working knowledge in Spring JPA and Hibernate to store the persistent data as an Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tool for communicating with the database.
•             Hands-on experience in writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation templates.
•             Should be familiar with cloud computing concepts and have hands-on experience in AWS services (such as S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, ECS, Step Functions, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM)
