Client: Bureau Of Land Management
Role: Sr. Java/Web Application Developer- Full Stack
Duration: Long Term (12months+)
Location: Denver, CO.
Exp: 7+ years (Someone who can mentor/Lead Jr-mid. Java developers)
Visa: Any except H1 B
Qualifications:
· Strong background in Java Full Stack programming language including JEE web application development.
· Java development in an application server environment.
· RESTful web services
· Solid background in Angular 7 and Typescript front end development.
· 6-7 years’ experience programming Web Services.
· Capacity to remain focused with task at hand as well as multi-tasking.
· Strong sense of ownership for assigned tasks and willingness to go the extra mile when needed.
· Understanding of Object-Oriented concepts, design patterns, and modern application frameworks.
· Familiarity with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle.
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor of Science-Computer Information Systems, Computer Science degree or related discipline with 7+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and training.
Technical Skills/Experience:
· Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming
· Java/JEE Application development with familiarity of one or more ORM frameworks
· Typescript, JavaScript with Angular 7+
· HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS3), Bootstrap.
· Experience with TypeScript.
· Strong Background in RESTful Webservices.
· JEE containers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss and/or other industry standard JEE application servers.
· Git, Maven and other standard Source Control and Build tools.
· Windows and Linux proficiency.
· Business rules implemented in Java and SQL or Relational database.
· Use of SQL to access and manipulate data in SQL or Relational Databases.
· Advanced Relational Database Concepts.
· Understanding of all aspects of XML and XML parsers.
· Knowledge of patterns in software development.
· Prior production support experience.
Additional Desired Skills/Requirements:
· The candidate should also possess strong oral and written communication, problem solving skills and should be a team player.
· The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior to employment.
