Description:
Client offers data backup services to its customers. We are developing a big data analytics solution to help enhance platform capabilities. The candidate is expected to join the storage team with primary responsibilities including but not limited to developing storage solutions, automation and jump in and assist with ops as necessary.
Required Skills:
- Experience with big data, streaming technologies and/or RESTful web service development
- Experience working within the data analysis ecosystem on top of platforms such as Hadoop, Spark
- Experience with Kubernetes in container-orchestration system for automating application deployment, scaling, and management
- Experience with programming in a language like Python, Golang, Java
- Knowledge of command line tools and the ability to jump in and assist with ops as necessary to keep the pipeline moving
- Systems administration experience with major Linux distributions
- Infrastructure fundamentals including compute, virtualization, network and storage concepts
