Job Description:		Delta Dental of Michigan (DDMI) is looking for 4 Full stack Java/Angular 7+ developers to join their new development team. They are in the midst of a large application rewrite and this work is all doing to be brand new development. This project is the highest priority item for the entire company and will be the baseline of the next 10 years of their organizational strategy! The contract lengths are 12 months to start, but we have had people out there for years and they expect this project to go for a very long time. The manager has been struggling to fill these positions. He is either finding people without the required technical skills, of they have very bad communication. Manager is looking for: 1) longer term contract duration showing stability 2) Required technical skills that have been validated 3) cultural fit per top 3 skills. He needs people who are Senior in both Core Java and Angular 5 or above.
Additional Information:		remote to start until DDMI goes back to the office. This could be a few months out.
Work Environment:		They work in a SAFe Agile environment. This person will be a part of a team of 3-4 developer, QA, BA, and Scrum Master. Their environment has all low cubes (similar to our pit) and everyone works very collaborative.

Who is the Internal/External Customer:		The main people using this application will be internal Delta Dental employees, but they are also going to be selling the components of this application out into the market for additional revenue growth. Internal: Employees of Delta Dental of Michigan and other states who sign up to use the DDMI platform that is being developed. External users: possibly agents who sell the Delta Dental product.
Impact to the Internal/External Customer:		The current system (ETS) is very old and clunky. It freezes and does not work well. This new application will be state of the art and make everyone's job much easier. The new app is also able to process claims much quicker and has automated processes that used to be manual.
Business Challenge:		The current claims processing system (ETS) for Delta cannot process claims as quickly as necessary to keep up with the demand of their growing business.

Business Challenge:		CAT marine is focusing on an initiative to add new transponders to its shipping division. These transponders will help track shipments, cargo ships, and equipment. They also will allow CAT to know where the cargo ships are and when they need more fuel, oil, new motor, etc. Currently, CAT marine is having trouble identifying these issues which will help them be more efficient with planning deliveries.
