Greeting from Conch Technologies Inc Position: Email Marketing Consultant (We will work only on w2) Location: Houston,TX Duration: 12+ months The candidate should have 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio (formerly ExactTarget) and possess the ability to easily and quickly hand-code HTML and CSS without relying on any specific Integrated Development Environment (IDE). The ideal candidate has exacting attention to detail, is a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team, can follow instructions without skimming or skipping steps, and isnt afraid to ask questions or for help when needed. The candidate should also be aware, in general, of other digital marketing channels (social media, web, etc.) and how they interact with email. Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): * Quickly and accurately build, edit, and test emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio / ExactTarget) * Metrics reporting: tracking and reporting on email and campaign performance * Hand code HTML and CSS * Create Outlook OFTs and Calendar .ICS appointment files * Create Journey Builder forms and Web Studio Cloud Pages * Work closely with the email team, external departments, and third-party vendors with program, project, and task management Job Requirements * 3+ years email marketing experience as a primary focus * 3+ building emails in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using Content Builder * 3+ years email analytics experience and must have a core understanding of how metrics are derived and how they relate to and impact marketing efforts. * Ability to easily code HTML and CSS without a WYSIWYG interface. Preferably in a text editor (Should not be dependent on a specific IDE like Dreamweaver) * Knowledge of AMPscript, A/B testing, and email personalization * Knowledge of email best practices, CAN-SPAM laws, deliverability improvement/maintenance. * Knowledge of Section 508 and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines * Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop to modify, re-slice images for HTML email building * Understands data extensions, subscriber imports, and group creation based on data filters * Experience with creating and modifying files with Adobe Acrobat Pro Preferred, but not required: * Financial Services / Insurance industry experience * Experience with Salesforce CRM Report Creation * Experience with Oracle Eloqua Email Marketing Platform * Experience with SmartSheet to manage email projects and calendars * Experience with SFMC Journey Builder and Cloud Pages * Knowledge of the Aprimo Project Management software * Experience with Litmus or other email testing software * Microsoft Excel data manipulation (vLookups) Professional Qualities * Well organized.
