Client is seeking for a Software Development Engineer (JAVA/Full-Stack)
Summary:
In this role, you are critical to the technical delivery and assist in developing and supporting the Credit issuing distributed applications. You are a seasoned developer with knowledge and expertise in full stack tools and frameworks that work with Java. This includes working with Servlets, core java, REST API and other tools. You have a direct impact on solution delivery for Card Services, in support of our clients and their customers.
Responsibilities:
-You will utilize the latest selected technology stack in your day-to-day activities (Java/JEE).
-You are working with other engineers in a paired environment. These are true full-stack engineering positions providing opportunities for both front-end UI and back-end services. Ideally, you already have experience working in ReactJS or Java/Spring.
-Crafting, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission critical systems.
-Collaborate effectively with other leaders, teams, and departments
Basic qualifications:
-5-7 years experience in designing, developing and maintaining Java-based applications using Java 8/JEE (and higher).
-Spring framework or EJB technologies.
-Experience with APIs.
-AngularJS or ReactJS or NodeJS.
-Proficiency with languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
-Ability to clearly communicate technical specifications to business leaders and implementation teams.
-Analytical skills to identify issues and resolve root case.
-Self-starter who can read user stories and work independently.
Preferred qualifications:
-Experience with Financial Industry. Experience working with remote and offshore development teams is preferred.
-Experience with agile development practices.
-Preferred knowledge and experience of Rules based decision applications.
-Background in financial services, specifically in real time card transaction processing, and digital applications.
-Data management (SQL, XML, JSON, Hibernate).
-Jenkins, Ant, Maven, Gradle.
-Splunk/AppDynamics/Sonatype.
-Experience on code scanning tools like Fortify.
