Worldwide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for (2) SQL Engineer with Python, AWS.This role will work REMOTE during Covid. Candidates must be open to working onsite post-Covid.

Why is this role open?
The team is responsible for Stifel Data Pipeline. Currently, it has 4 architects, 1 dev, 1 PO, and 1 SM. The team is mainly made up of data architects and database developer. So, you can see that this team will need database dev skill sets (100% cloud based). At a minimum, candidates must be familiar with AWS in general, Redshift, Aurora, Glue, Lambda, and S3. The languages involved would be Microsoft SQL, Postgres SQL, and Python.
� Local candidates preferred - Candidates will be required to come into St. Louis office to have their laptops configured and set up
� Not looking for an architect (there are 4 on hand), but we do need an engineer to execute, implement, configure the work that architects hand down
� Over 200 objects that need to be connected
� Cloud familiarity
� Heavy use of Python coding
� Must be well-versed with AWS Lambda, Glue, S3
� Must be familiar with Redshift, Postgres, Terraform
� IAM provisioning, access/permissions - utilizing IAM roles
Nice to have
� AWS Data Catalog
� AWS RDS
� Terraform Enterprise
� IAM
� Denodo (upcoming implementation projects)
� Daily Duties
� Converting legacy Sql job/objects running on MS 2014 SQL, re-create all functionality using AWS constructs
� May need to transform to Postgres, or may pull all functionality and move to Glue
