Job Description:
Technical/Functional Skills
o Proficient in software testing/quality assurance, typically acquired through 9-12 years of experience in a formal testing role.
o Minimum 10+ years of Experience in implementing automated Test scripts using Rest Assured, Cucumber, Java
o 5+ years testing SOAP and REST-based API endpoints.
o 4+ years of experience in testing web-based applications.
o Minimum 4+ years of experience in Developing scripts using Java, Cucumber, implementing rest API automated Test scripts using Rest Assured
o Minimum 8+ Years of experience in Implementing testing framework TestNG for Unit Testing, functional testing and End to End Testing of features
o Experience 3+ years in Micro Services validations using postman, API testing tools
o 6+ years of Experience in Using Dev Ops tools on platforms on Jenkins
o Experience on Google Cloud platforms tools
o Should have worked on SVN, GitHub, and Continuous Integration environment like Jenkins.
o Should have experience SQLs, NoSQL Databases
o Should have experience in working in teams following Agile or XP methodology
o Expertise in UI automation using selenium and other related technologies
o Should have Retail domain experience to understand the business requirement.
o Minimum 2+ years of Senior programming level experience involving high level design of automation suites
o Understanding of distributed systems and related concepts required
Roles & Responsibilities :
o Participating in requirement gathering sessions
o Participate in Scrum meeting
o Authors test plans, test scenarios, functional test cases, non-functional test cases, regression test cases, security test cases
o Automate and execute QA test scripts and maintain those scripts on an ongoing basis.
o Perform manual tests as needed on an ongoing basis to test scenarios that are difficult to automate, or until those scenarios can be automated.
o Report and document issues, and manage defect remediation
o Comfort and experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment.
o Exposure to bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA.
o Work closely with Product Owner, Business Analyst, and Development to create acceptance criteria
o Provide test estimates to Project Managers and internal customers in preparation of implementation timelines
o Implementing BDD components.
o Using Dev Ops tools available on JENKINs and Google Cloud platform
o Validating and providing feedback on Micro Services and
o Participate is SCRUM meeting and sprint grooming sessions
o Identifies areas for process improvements.
Generic Skills :
o Knowledge of Retail and supply channel and warehouse functionalities
o Think out of the box to provide innovative solutions and using technology tools
o analyzing business requirements while preparing test cases
o Be extremely proactive and independent
o Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must
o Be a value addition to the team to collaborate and achieve success by completing project goals
