Job Title	Java Developer with AWS
Duration	Expected to be 6-12 Months contract with possible extension
Location	NYC, NY (Remote Until Covid)
Skills/Experience	Required Skills: Development experience in AWS and Java Proficient in J2EE, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems Experience with the core AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Batch, EC2,DynamoDB, CloudWatch) Strong working experience with Docker and ECS. Experience in designing and creating RESTFul web services using JAX-RS Strong working experience with Spring and Springboot applications. Hands-on experience with writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming Skill for writing reusable Java libraries Understanding of key web fundamentals like CORS and browser security Familiar with various design and architectural patterns Familiarity with writing prepared statements and querying Oracle Knowledge in tuning the SQL to achieve better performance Knack for writing clean, readable Java code Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Creating database schema that represent and support business processes Working knowledge in creating/maintaining Jenkins CI-CD pipeline Proficient with version control like GIT/BitBucket
