Job Responsibilities:

 

Technical Skills:

Minimum of 10 years designing web-based user interfaces

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Node.js and ReactJS

Minimum 10 years’ experience designing and implementing user interfaces using HTML & CSS

Minimum 2 years’ experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL;

Minimum 5 years’ experience using Agile development methodologies.

Experience with common front-end development tools such as NPM

 

Responsibilities:

Developing new user-facing features using React.js and Node.js

Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

Building designs and wireframes based on customer requirements

Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code

Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browser

 

Qualifications / Skills:

You should have a strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

You need a deep understanding of React.js and its core principles

Having proven experience with popular React.js workflows and state management libraries such as Flux or Redux is required

You should have a strong proficiency in Node.js and its libraries

Having knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

Having familiarity with RESTful APIs is a must

Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Docker

Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

A knack for benchmarking and optimization

Experience with GIT

Being comfortable and proficient in a dynamic, agile team environment

Should have strong experience in architecting React + Node solutions

Should have experience integrating React-based web application with APIs through API gateways

Should be hands on architect and not just architectural guide

Experience performing code review

Should have strong understanding of coding and architectural best practices.
