JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title: Sr Mainframe Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 12 month

 

Role/Responsibilities:  This position will participate in the enhancement of existing applications for the Retail Grocery Industry in Supply Chain and/or Finance Arenas.  As developer be able to work in a fast pace environment.  As a developer be able to create Technical Design Documents and code utilizing the Technical Design Document.  As a developer be ability to follow SDLC.  As a developer follow coding standards.  As a developer understand the program life cycle from creation, testing (SIT, UAT, etc.).   As a developer be able to work simple to complex coding.  As a developer be able to analyze programs.

 

Mandatory Minimum Requirements

•                      5 years proven work experience

•                      Mainframe COBOL

•                      MVS

•                      VSAM

•                      DB2

•                      Endevor (or a similar code promotion tool)

•                      TSO

•                      JCL

•                      Control M (setting up schedules)

•                      Flexible with time during testing

•                      Ability to run jobs manually in testing

•                      Visio and Excel

•                      Basic Accounting Skills

A plus

•                      MQ Series

•                      RACF knowledge
