Gartner’s Top Technology Trends That Will Define 2021
From technology influencing how people behave at work to AI engineering and hyper-automation, here are the biggest technology trends in 2021 that will shape the future, according to Gartner.

Total Experience: ‘Creating A Sustainable Competitive Advantage’
Gartner defines its “total experience” trend as combining the customer experience, employee experience and user experience to transform a business outcome.

The goal is to improve the overall experience where all of these pieces intersect from technology to employees to customers and users.

Tightly linking all of these experiences as opposed to individually improving each one will differentiate a business from competitors in a way that is difficult to replicate, “creating sustainable competitive advantage,” Gartner said.

Having a total experience will enable organizations in 2021 to capitalize on COVID-19 disrupters including remote work, mobile, virtual and distributed customers.

Should You Ask for a Raise During the Pandemic?
Asking for a raise can be intimidating even in the best of times!

As if that stress weren’t enough, we’re now facing a global pandemic, economic downturn, and remote work transformation, which can make the prospect of asking for more money seem downright terrifying.

Are you feeling underpaid or way overdue for a promotion or salary boost, but the pandemic has you worrying if it’s even worth it to ask?

Have you taken on additional responsibilities during this crisis that you believe should be reflected in your compensation, but no one’s even mentioned raises this year? If you feel this way, you are not alone!

The biggest question today is: Should I ask for a raise in this economy?
