Job Description:
Under broad supervision, designs, codes, tests, modifies and debugs computer software. Writes and analyzes programs of moderate complexity. Analyzes, researches, and resolves problems. Develops program documentation.
The Georgia SBWC is seeking a Senior Java Developer to help design, code, test, modify and debug Java based applications. This person will write and analyze programs of moderate to high complexity.
General Responsibilities:
⢠Understand and analyze details provided in use cases and functional specifications
⢠Understand and analyze process flow diagrams (business processes workflow)
⢠Estimate effort for technical analysis, design and development
⢠Develop software using J2EE design patterns with emphasis on reusability
⢠Must adhere to coding standards and design specifications
⢠Analyze and resolve technical issues independently
⢠Conduct peer code reviews, and perform unit testing
⢠Able to build and deploy code with changes
Minimum Qualifications
⢠9+ years of full stack development experience using Java
⢠3+ years of experience using the following technologies: J2EE, JSF 2.x, EJB 3.x, JPA (Hibernate), Prime Faces 3.x, Eclipse 4.x, JBoss, 7.x, Oracle 12c, Linux, SpringBatch, Web services
⢠Understanding of Oracle RDBMS, Data models
⢠Experience in writing SQL statements, and knowledge of PL/SQL
⢠Ability to estimate development efforts
⢠Ability to be proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and creative
⢠Work well independently, as well as with a team
⢠Ability to organize, plan and implement work assignments, and work under pressure
⢠Work experience or exposure to understanding document management systems, and workflow management systems. Ability to program using product API.
⢠Ability to develop/enhance with restful web services
⢠Bachelor's degree in an IT related field from an accredited college or university AND five years of programming experience OR Associate's degree in an IT related field from an accredited college or university AND seven years of related experience OR nine years of Java programming experience.

Job Description:
Under general supervision, installs, configures, and supports a local area network, wide area network, internet system, computers, desktops and/or mobile devices.
The Georgia SBWC is seeking a System Administrator to administer our day-to-day Windows Server, Active Directory, and RedHat Linux environment. This person will be responsible for design, installation, configuration, optimization, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure. SBWC's infrastructure includes physical and virtual servers, SAN arrays, network switches, load balancers, firewalls, MS Exchange, VMWare vSphere, Office365, desktop computers, and laptops.
General Responsibilities:
⢠Manage servers, including e-mail (Exchange DAG cluster and Exchange 365), file/print, virtual servers (VMWare), database servers (Oracle and MS SQL), and backup servers (Avamar), and their associated operating systems (Windows and Linux)
⢠Manage security concerning Operating system solutions by following industry standard best practices under the guidance of the Georgia Technology Authority.
⢠Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot moderately complex application server hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
⢠Administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
⢠Perform moderately complex server design and capacity planning.
⢠Conduct research on server/datacenter products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and application development efforts.
⢠Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
⢠Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.
⢠Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.

⢠Perform system backups and recovery.
⢠Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
⢠5+ years of experience with VMWare
⢠5+ years of experience with Exchange Server
⢠5+ years of experience with backup and replication of servers
⢠5+ years of experience administering both Windows and Linux servers
⢠3+ years of experience with network configuration (switches, routers, hubs, and firewalls)
⢠5 years of system administration experience. Additional years of related work experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to two years.
⢠Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
⢠Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills
⢠Detail oriented
⢠Strong verbal and written communication skills
