Job Description:
Software engineer will be responsible for the design , development, implementation , maintenance, and performance of critical systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities & Required Skills
• Develop application on java through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems
• Design, build, test, and implement server solutions in both physical and virtual environments using DevOps tools
• Configure and maintain application servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Skills and Qualifications
• Providing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programming
• Advising and implementing AWS best practices
• Working as both an infrastructure and application development specialist
• Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment
• Extensive experience architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environment
• Experience with designing and building application using AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Aurora
• Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability
• Hands on programing skills in any of the following: Python, Java,
• Understanding of application, server, and network security on cloud
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. Powershell, Python, Bash etc.)
Strong practical application development experience on Linux based systems
• Design of Cloud environments with a focus on AWS and demonstrate Technical Cloud Architectural knowledge, playing a vital role in the design of production, staging, QA and development Cloud Infrastructures running in 24x7 environments
• In depth knowledge of AWS services and prior experience in developing and provisioning systems on AWS
• Good experience into AWS Architecture and Services
• Delivery of Cloud Strategies, aligned with business objectives and with a focus on Cloud Migrations
• Hands on familiarity with CloudFormation.
• Develop DevOps and automation for AWS
Must have Certification from AWS for Solutions Architect/Associate and Kubernetes from Linux Foundation
