Role: SAP Basis and Vertex Administrator
Location: Chicago.IL
Duration: Long Term
JD:
• Create an overall Vertex version upgrade work plan that identifies the tasks, deliverables and dates for the execution of services Design the upgrade plan of Vertex O Series 6.0 to 9.x.
• Review the current infrastructure setup and document required changes to support Vertex 9.x.
• Provide analysis of new integration capabilities that are now available under Vertex 9.x.
• Document any required configuration or integration changes to leverage new features in Vertex 9.x.
• Data migration from O Series version 7 to version 9 in three (3) environments Execute installation of Vertex 9.x.
• Install the latest version of the Accelerator.
• Document any required configuration changes to resolve current pain points in Vertex integration.
• Perform configuration activities necessary to allow for a complete transition of Vertex configuration data to the new Vertex 9.x platform.
• Assist with development of comprehensive unit and integration test scripts to cover all the transactions sales processes defined in Requirements Gathering sessions Execution of unit testing against Vertex 6.x, and 9.x environments using automated testing capabilities for a comparative reconciliation.
• Test the communication between SAP and O Series.
• Review of integration test results and remediation as needed Assist in UAT remediation
