Qualifications
· Experience of writing Software in C/C++ & Shell Scripts
· Experience in debugging and investigating embedded system related issues.
· Understanding of Circuit Design, & Automotive Wire-Harness is a plus.
· Understanding of Linux OS Fundamentals and IPC Mechanisms
· Knowledge of Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) is a plus
· Knowledge Diagnostics-over-IP (DoIP) is a plus.
Telematics development – vehicle remote management, safety and security services, vehicle bus protocols, vehicle diagnostics
Other software programming experience (Java, JavaScript, HTML5, J2EE, Android, JNI, C#, apps that interact with web services – REST, XML/JSON)
Master of Science Degree in an engineering or information technology
Desired Experience/Knowledge
- Experience in navigation or other location-based application development
- Reasonable understanding of networking and software development in distributed systems
- Connectivity development – telephony, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, NFC, USB, satellite communication transports
