Job/Project Description
A developer specializing in JAVA, relational databases, and web services is being sought to support the implementation, conversion, and integration of a third-party Case Management system (CASES) into the Department infrastructure. The individual will work closely with Department's staff and the CloudNAll development to understand how the new system functions, what is needed to make it successfully function and interface with other Systems in the Department' technology platform. Background Department was approved for a project to replace a 20+ year old legacy case management system supporting the business processes and programs for the Workforce Services Division (WSD). This effort includes a current contract with National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) to enhance and implement a case management solution they commissioned to be developed. The implementation of this Case Management System is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2021, and the developer services will be required until 12/30/21. Department has limited available resources to dedicate to this significant of an effort. Department resources will be utilized to manage the effort (Project Manager), ensure testing is successful, and the product meets the needs of the business. Department is seeking one individual to support data migration, existing reporting functions, and integration of the new Case Management System with the several existing Department systems. Objectives of this CEP: Onboard a development staff person that can begin with system integration tasks for the new CASES system, with minimal support and training. Additional tasks will include integration of existing databases and warehouses, assistance with Federal Reporting Processes (PIRL), integration with existing Enterprise Contract Management system (ECM) and integration of data into existing web services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Department's MISTICS system written in SQL, Database Schema(s), Batch Processes, and integration points Knowledge of Department's MWORKS system in Oracle forms and Reports and SQL, s, database schema(s), batch processes, and integration points Knowledge of Department's MontanaWorks system written in JAVA, existing code packages, database schema(s), batch processes, and integration points Background and understanding of Department's Workforce Services Division and Unemployment Insurance programs and business processes Strong java and web services development skills Strong relational database skills (PL/SQL and Oracle) Strong knowledge in Spring Framework Experience in test driven development
Experience Requirements
Seasoned Software Developer with 4- 5 years of experience in development
