Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Austin, TX
Role: 10+ Months Contract
- Working with Oracle 12c databases, developing database table structure and writing custom Oracle SQL queries
- Eliciting requirements from end users and applying those in application development
- Developing applications in Java Spring to manipulate data, create dashboards and reports
- Coding using the following tools: Rational Application Developer (or other Eclipse-based IDE), Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs), Java Struts framework, HTML5, JavaScript (jQuery, Bootstrap), browser-based debugging tools, myBatis, Apache Ant, SVN (or other version control software)
- Developing java applications for WebSphere Application Server
- Coding following OWASP secure coding practices
- Working on an agile scrum team as a developer
- Writing technical documentation
Preferred (Optional):
- Working in with TDI applications and databases
- Using SortSite or similar tool to observe ADAA compliance
- Writing user documentation
