Title: Azure Support Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA/ Remote
Duration: 3+ months HIgh Possibility of Extension
Job Description:
This role includes close collaboration with business units & development teams working in Microsoft Azure environment, and implementing new technologies within a production live environment of a large-scale distributed product. In this role, you will be responsible for:
� Maintaining and Monitoring Azure infrastructure
� Day to Day Operations & Services
� Identifying performance issues & work to resolution
� Review platform security and resilience
Qualifications:
� Good technical understanding of Azure cloud platform
� Experience with Configuration management and Version Control Solutions
� Ability to troubleshoot tickets up to level II (Connectivity, Changes to Firewalls)
� Experience and proven success in Azure design support and management
� Experience with scripting tools (PowerShell, Azure CLI and ARM templates.)
� Experience with controlling and securing the Azure environment , Azure Policies, Management Group, Network Security Group, Application Security Group, Firewalls etc.
� Ability to make changes as necessary to the Azure environment
� Experience in debugging production incidents
� Ability to work under pressure
� Strong sense of responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work, both personally and at a team level
� Self-Motivated and the ability to identify task to support the day to day needs of the environment
� Azure Certification (admin level) is a plus
� Experience writing code and deploying infrastructure using Terraform is a plus
