Position: Mainframe Assembler
Location: Omaha NE/Atlanta GA
Duration: Contract
Job Description:
- Good hands-on of Project Development using Mainframe technologies: Assembler COBOL, JCL, DB2, JCL, ISPF command/Utilities
- Knowledge on ENDEVOR.
- CICS(CICS with VSAM handling and CICS with DB2 handling)
- DB2(Cobol with db2 programming knowledge)
- File aid for db2 and file
- Exposure on incident management/change request management tools.
- Scheduling tool(knowledge CA7, control-M)
- Exposure on any of the debugging tools for both batch and online environment(eg. Xpeditor, abend aid)
- Working knowledge on SCRUM model/JIRA handling
- Experience in doing impact analysis, design document creation, change release, deployment, monitoring and estimation.
- Complete understanding of SDLC cycle.
