We have an open position for QA Manager who has experience in Insurance domain (Property & Casualty) with Guidewire experience.
Note: Guidewire and Insurance background is must
Requirement:
Client : Direct Client
Location: White Plains, NY (Initially Remote)
Title: Test Manager
Responsibilities:
• Develop a QA vison for the QA function and drive the implementation of the vision in collaboration with the head of QA to meet the operational objectives
• Provide Quality Governance by implementing standards and quality gates across the products and projects
• Educate and share the knowledge of QA practices and its business value to IT stakeholders
• Build test strategy, align resources and define approach for the IT/ projects in the pipeline
• Oversees, facilitates and co-ordinates all aspects of QA across all IT projects.
• Oversee development and execution of test plans and test cases and assistance to testing organizations with preparing testing estimates.
• Perform & Publish Defects analysis and RCA in QA, UAT & Production environments
• Measure and report KPI’s & necessary actions to all stakeholders
Qualifications:
• 12+ year of IT experience with 3+ years for QA Management experience in Insurance domain (Property & Casualty)
• Successfully managed testing efforts for large scale Insurance products with globally distributed teams (Onsite / Offshore model)
• Led testing efforts that involved communication of testing timelines, progress and results with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication, documentation, planning and decision-making skills
• Strong hands-on experience with quality assurance practices, building test strategies, implementing shift left & right practices and perform skill gap analysis and training plans
• Knowledge of Dragon (Policy administration), Guidewire (Claims), Duckcreek (Billing) is preferable
• Exposure to Test automation and experience managing high degree of test automation implemented projects is a must
