Java Tech Lead (Delivery Manager)
San Francisco Bay area, CA.
What you do-
§ Authors, reviews, and approves technical designs
§ Mastery of domain programming language
§ Engineers extensible solutions with the team in mind and can fix complex bugs
§ Reviews code to ensure it is functionally correct and consistent with the technical
§ design
§ Accountable for domain dependencies and critical paths
§ Accountable for complex stories and integration or business requirements

§ Anticipates risks and provides contingency solutions and timelines
§ Defines useful metrics and targets for domain
§ Measurably improves processes and best practices to achieve goals

What you know-
§ 12+ years of Software Development experience with 3+ years as Technical Manager or Technical Lead
§ Experience with micro-services architecture, design patterns, and standard
§ methodologies with an eye towards scale, automation, resiliency, high availability,
§ and user experience.
§ Proficient in Java, JEE, Spring Stack
§ Proficient in Java-Micro Services – Java 8/9, Spring Boot, some messaging
§ background.
§ Deep understanding & experience in Java, design concepts, patterns, and coding
§ standards
§ Experience with WCM (Web Content Management) / ECM (Enterprise Content
§ Management)/ AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).
§ Strong background in creating secure cloud architectures for customer facing applications that are enterprise grade and highly scalable.
§ Passionate to understand complex data sets and help the team to build insights that
§ drives business decisions
§ Proficient in using Agile methodologies with a strong mindset to break-down complex requirements into milestones, features and user stories and focus on delivering MVP.
§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audience
§ Manage business expectations, set realistic goals with stakeholders and deliver them
§ Strong leadership skills to motivate and rally the team

Education –

Job Title: Java Microservices Developer/Lead
Location – SF, CA
What You'll Do –
- Develop code using latest Java, Spring, and NO SQL technologies
- Solve technical problems using cutting edge technologies and best practices
- Propose different ways to solve the same problem and showcase why one solution is better
- Ensure all aspects of the technical design are correctly incorporated
- Contribute technical expertise to all projects as required
- Contribute research and implementing POC's as required
What You Know –
- Senior developer with 8 plus years of experience
- Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture
- Excellent knowledge working in Java 8, Spring, Webservices
- Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns is very beneficial
- Experience with Apache Camel will be very beneficial
- Experience in UI development using JavaScript
- Exhibit lead level skills, to be able to independently drive the assignments from requirements to Deployment by themselves
- Should have the right attitude to pick any technology
- Demonstrated ability to build frameworks that can are scalable, maintainable and resilient.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
- Good knowledge and experience designing and developing applications and reusable components using J2EE technologies, Application servers
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with: Java EE, JMS, Web Services, REST and JSON, XML, XSLT
- Strong experience using Git and Jenkins
- Experience with Unix/Solaris and Oracle databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and a team player.
- Development experience with java security (nice to have)
- Experience or knowledge with Agile (Scrum)
