Title: Java Full stack Developer
Location: Raleigh, NC
An excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Full Stack Lead Developer to join one of the top companies in the RTP, NC area for a 1-year contract, with a possible conversion opportunity.
Required Skills: Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Cloud (AWS or Azure), Angular (6 preferred)
Experience with one of the continuous integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, or Artifactory. Microservices highly desired.
Preferred skills: Tools such as Make, Maven, Gradle, Grunt, or Gulp
- 7+ years of Full-Stack development
- Team Lead or Project Lead experience in Full Stack Development

What You'll Be Doing...
• Develop responsive JavaScript based single page Web Applications which will run across platforms.
• Develop robust highly available production applications.
• Develop Cloud based software applications that will run on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Develop Micro services using Sprint Boot, Java and Angular in accordance with Lenovo's business requirements.
• May assist in Daily Scrum, sprint planning, reviews and release tasks in accordance to Lenovo's processes.
• May assist in gathering Sprint metrics, generate development metrics (e.g. code coverage, Coverity reports) and quality metrics (e.g. limitations, perf testing, reopens).
• Coordinate technical tasks (Unit test, Code review, technical cross team dependencies)
• Work on Performance optimizations, Security and other non-functional considerations to support the necessary Lenovo guidelines.
• Work with DevOps teams to provide needed scripts to build CI/CD jobs for software deployments.
• Perform code reviews on behalf of fellow Developers.
• Research new technologies, create proof of concepts and develop prototypes quickly.
• You will regularly discuss short and long term architectural objectives and advise on solutions approach, where applicable, in coordination with the Principal Architect / Engineer.
• Proactively engage managers and technical leads across the Engineering Organization to ensure development is meeting the needs of customers both internal and external.
• Travel may be required (10%) for meetings, technical reviews and onsite delivery activities.
Preferred Requirements:
• MS in Computer Science
• Understand open-source technologies/frameworks (Angular5 or higher, SaaS)
• Experience working on a large-scale deployments and performance tuning.
• Engineering process experience with the Agile Software Development principles
