Position: Java Developer

Duration: Fulltime/Contract
Location: Menands,NY

Job description:

• 7 years of demonstrated experience as a full-stack developer working with modern web technologies
• 5 years of Java experience
• 7 years of experience with Oracle database servers and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating stored procedures, triggers, and other objects.
• 4 years of experience Angular 2 or above
• 4 years of demonstrated hands-on experience with RESTful web service development
• 4 years of experience managing the software development lifecycle of a team. This must include managing development, testing, continuous integration, and deployments

Duties:
The expert programmer will provide development and maintenance support for the various modules of the Infection Control Course Provider Application including:
• Make further improvements and enhancements to the systems for increase scalability
• Create reports for administrative awareness
• Develop bulk upload by course providers for license medical professional’s course completion
• Integrate with NYS Education Department where applicable
• Work closely with the Technical Lead and the Project Manager to review requirements and provide work effort estimates.
• Communicate with diverse stakeholder groups across the organization, and clearly articulate design and development ideas
• Apply strong analytical skills and outside-the-box thinking to enhance existing systems and carrying out bug fixes
• Adhere to all database design, system architecture, coding, unit testing, and deployment standards.
