Senior Software Engineer
Location: Columbus, Ohio
What You'll Do
- Develop code using latest java and spring technologies
- Solve technical problems using cutting edge technologies and best practices.
- Should able to propose different ways to solve the same problem and showcase why one option is better than other.
- Ensure all aspects of the technical design are correctly incorporated
- Contribute technical expertise to all projects as required
- Contribute in research and implementing POC's as required.
What You Know
- 8+ years of experience with Java 8+.
- 5+ years of experience with Spring (Boot, Core, MVC, Executor, JMS, JPA).
- 5+ years of experience with REST/SOAP web services.
- 5+ years of experience writing tests with JUnit, Mockito, etc.
- 2+ years of experience writing functional tests with Ruby/JRuby, Cucumber.
- 4+ years of experience with Maven/ Gradle build tools.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
- 3+ years of experience with ORM frameworks such as IBatis/MyBatis/Hibernate.
- 3+ years of experience with GIT.
- 1+ years of experience with AngularJs / ReactJs / Jquery.
- Exposure to Kafka is a plus.
- Exposure to Struts framework is a plus.
- Exposure to TDD and BDD is a plus.
- Exposure to Pivotal Cloud Foundry / Spring Cloud is a plus.
- Exposure to MQ systems such as WebSphere MQ / Active MQ / Rabbit MQ
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field
