Location - Local to or near Minneapolis, MN. No guarantees for out of state candidates, but will consider if we do not have any locals.

Interview: Locals to Minneapolis, MN. No guarantees for out of state candidates. We will do a phone or video interviews. Remote is most likely for a while until we are all allowed back in offices.

This role will serve as a technical consultant and at times as a lead to provide and support software applications that meet or exceed business needs. The Software Engineer must be capable of working on computer programs that are complex in nature; is familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures; and performs a variety of complex applications development related tasks with little guidance from others.

Any combination of relevant education and experience and/or related professional designations/certifications in this field is highly desirable.

Experience

4-6 years of increasingly responsible systems development experience using Java in an Agile environment.
Deeper knowledge/hands-on experience in using Java development tools and technologies are a must (Java, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, Junit etc.)
AWS Developer / Solutions Architect Certification is preferred.
Knowledge of Angular, C# and .NET. a plus.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of Java is a must
AWS Certification and knowledge of S3 preferred.
Knowledge of C# and .NET is a plus.
Very good knowledge of Angular is a plus
Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, design and develop systems.
Ability to track record of designing and developing high quality, scalable and efficient solutions and products on schedule.
Team player and individual contributor.
Some project management skills.
Ability to accurately identify root cause of technical problems.
Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
Ability to adapt to change.
