Responsibilities
Overall 10-14+ years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.
• Expertise in spring, Spring Boot.
• Expertise in UI technologies (Angular, React, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript...etc)
• At least 7 years of experience in building web applications using Java Technologies.
• At least 2 years of experience building and deploying applications using cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, etc)
• At least 5 years of experience in project execution.
• Knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns.
• Data modeling and database design experience
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point.
• Strong Analytical skills. Ability to translate business requirement to technical solutions. Be able to do complex designs and follow the best engineering practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Optimizing code for performance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies/SCRUM.
• At least 2 years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams.
• Experience in Hadoop is plus

Title: Sr. Infrastructure Design Engineer
Location: Durham, NC
Type: Contract
• Experience in multiple technical specialties preferred.
• Experience in one or more of the following technologies (aligning with relevant technical
Specialties):
• Cloud security
• Compute virtualization
• Private/public cloud
• Linux containers (Open shift/Kubernetes)
• Platform-as-a-service
• Experience engineering technologies to be delivered “as a service†and an
Understanding of concepts of multi-tenancy.
• Strong technical aptitude in varied areas.
• Must be able to work independently and be self-sufficient in defining and realizing infrastructure designs.
• Team and customer service oriented, flexible and adaptable with proven ability to solve problems in a collaborative and timely manner.
• Solid background in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Proven debugging skills. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with strong organization and planning skill set.
• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies and process flows.
• Ability to correlate technical actions to business impact
• Flexible and adaptable with focus on effectively managing change.
• Relevant technical certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of systems
Engineering experience is required.
• In lieu of degree, 7 years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience in multiple technical specialties preferred.
• Diverse technical background with an advanced working knowledge of multiple operating systems’ (Linux/IBM AIX/Windows) and hardware platforms(IBM Power Systems/x86) and virtualization technologies (VMware/IBM VIOs)
• Experience in one or more of the following technologies (aligning with relevant technical specialties):
o Software defined networking
o Software defined storage
o Compute virtualization
o Private/public cloud
