If you’re ready to innovate, come join the Legal Entity & General Accounting team within the Finance & Procurement Technology Organization at Nike. You’ll be part of a team that is revolutionizing the delivery of technology solutions that will cater to the dynamic needs of our evolving business.
The Legal Entity & General Accounting team needs a strong, self-motivated Sr. SAP Business Systems Analyst who will deliver the right functionality at the right time along with maximizing value for our consumers and global business partners.
You'll work on defining requirements to be used for developing and implementing enhancements as well as providing production support fixes. Work will be primarily focused on our portfolio in the Accounting & Controlling domain. You will also work on small to medium size projects in related areas. You will collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners/Product Managers, Product Analysts and Business Owners to deliver technical solutions. You'll be a key contributor in all aspects of development and support, and involvement in all phases of the software development lifecycle. You'll work in a team environment but will also need facilitation skills and the ability to lead project team meetings as needed. It is important in this role, and all of Nike, to be able to create new ideas, generate consensus, and work cooperatively.
In addition to those general role responsibilities we are looking for candidates with a background and strengths in the following areas:
- Partnering with business teams to anticipate needs, assesses requirements, and identify new solutions
- Commitment to collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
- Passion for being the liaison between business units, technology teams and support teams
- Extensive experience and knowledge implementing finance systems using project lifecycle processes, including design, testing, implementation and support
- Ability to perform functional and performance tests on the system in order to verify the changes implemented by developers
- Demonstrate the capability to communicate and document system changes to key stakeholders while translating system functionality into business relevant language
- Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in a Lean Scaled Agile delivery environment
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with management, technical peers, and business stakeholders
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, Business or other relevant area
- 8-9+ years of professional experience in an SAP Business Systems Analyst or similar role
- Expert level background in customizing and configuring SAP FICO - General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders
- Rich experience in configuration of SAP FI & CO modules in IMG based on defined business requirements
- Able to collaborate with cross-functional technology teams including individuals supporting MM, PM, PP and PS, BW, and BPC
- Support of at least 2 full cycle SAP or SAP FICO implementations
- Assess business and application requirements and design robust business processes while considered industry business practices
- Corporate Accounting experience is a plus
