Role : Devops Automation Engineer
Location : Santa Clara, CA
Duration : 12 Months + Possible Extension
Experience – Essential (Must Have)
• 6+ years’ experience in programming and scripting (e.g. Powershell, Python)
• Experience with VMware API with past examples
• Experience with Saltstack or Ansible
Experience – Good to have
• Experience building / working with containers
• Familiar with Python Napalm
• Experience with ServiceNow in an agile environment
In this role candidate will be responsible for the following projects:
• Host validation and deployment
• VM analysis
• VM migration including network device configuration
• VM remediation
• VM validation
• Scripts to do VM management.

· Accomplished Projects related to Infrastructure Automation.
· Strong System Administration Skills
· Experience with file systems ZFS, XFS, NTFS along with the Enterprise Storage (NAS/SAN)/Data Protection/Backup Technologies
· Experience with Ontap API’s
Experience – Good to have
· Working knowledge of configuration management – Salt, Ansible
· Experience with at least one of the job schedulers such as LSF, SLURM
· Some experience at the large-scale data center – 1000+ nodes
In this role the candidate will be performing the following tasks,
· Large Scale Data migrations on netapp filers
· Performance Based Provisioning.
· Cut over and Post Validation.
· Storage and Backup Self-Service.
· Archive Solution.
