The focus is on on UI development, including JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, JSP, etc. in addition to Core Java, XML, REST and SQL.

Job Posting Summary

This job is for a seasoned consultant to serve as a Senior Java Software Developer in Princeton, NJ.
The consultant will be part of a team to provide Full Stack Web-based softwrae development solutions using Java/J2EE technologies, UI and back-end database (SQL Server, and Oracle) in an Agile development environment. This is a multi-year assignment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Capable of developing enterprise wide large-scale web application in Java/JEE platform
• Be able to communicate regularly with other people in the team and be able to articulate project needs, as well as be able to discuss any challenges or problems that arise
• Possess good reading and writing comprehension skills
• Apply Logical thinking and Problem-solving skills on day to day basis
• ·Business-savvy - have focus towards solving business problem with innovating technical solutions
• ·Attention to details- be able to decipher complex details from the discussion and come up with design
• Be able to learn new technologies and willing to step out of comfort zone to explore and learn new skills
• Be able to multitask and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• The work is done in an Agile development environment.
Qualifications

Skills Required:
• Significant experience (7-10 years) in developing Java web applications.
• Experience with pure J2EE and core Java technologies is must.
• Experience in investigating and resolving software production incidents.
• Platform Tools: Eclipse
• Languages: Java, HTML, JSP, XML
• Experience with Spring/ Hibernate.
• Experience with Spring Batch ·
• Experience in client/ server integration. ·
• Experience in developing automated test cases using the JUNIT Framework. ·
• Angular JS, HTML5, JQuery, CSS 3, object-oriented JavaScript to develop the next generation application.
• Develop MVC driven JavaScript web applications with HTML5, JQuery, CSS3, knowledge of SASS/LESS.
• Experience in developing applications for cross-browser compatibility with different OS and device is a must·
• Experience in Agile Methodology·
• Experience with JBOSS
• Operating Systems: Windows, UNIX/Linux
Education:
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or related field or in the alternative a combination of education, certifications and work experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
Skills Preferred:
• Experience in developing web pages meeting Section 508, WCAG 2.0 / ARIA standards
• Experience in developing applications for Mobile platform
• Experience with XML, XSLT and XPATH
• Experience working in AWS environment and using AWS native APIs e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda Functions, API Gateways, Elastic Search, DynamoDB,SNS, SQS etc.
• Knowledge of SASS/LESS
• Experience in writing unit tests for JavaScript like Jasmine or QUnit
