1. Expert support experience with WebSphere Application Server and Java/ J2EE applications across multiple Pre Prod environments.
2. Manage and Configure web servers, Understand the functions of WebSphere Plugin, and various constructs in its configuration.
3. Expert level defining and modifying WebSphere configuration such as data sources, listener ports, transports, Name Space Bindings, WebSphere Plugin, Java2 Connection artifacts as per testing requirements.
4. Understand and apply best practices for Install/Update/Migration of WebSphere Application Server product.
5. Perform all administrative operations using the administrative console.
6. Develop WebSphere scripts in Jython, Perform configuration and operational tasks with wsadmin tool, Develop utilities per requirement.
7. Understanding of how SSL works, Certificate Management, Configure SSL between various components.
8. Describe the methodology of problem determination, Articulate and Apply procedures for troubleshooting problems related to SSL, Certificates, JVM, Request flow, Resource connectivity, JNDI, Class loading, Garbage Collection etc. Gather and Diagnose various logs / dumps.
9. Address performance issues to fine tune WebSphere configuration for JVM, thread pools, connection pools etc.
10. Familiar with Linux shell commands to perform day to day operations and Ability to write scripts for administration tasks, including Linux shell and Python.
11. Expert level experience administering IHS Web Server. Creating IHS start up scripts. Modifying apache configuration such as Document Root, Rewrite Rules and creating virtual hosts.
12. Team player, self-motivated, very resourceful/requiring minimal direction, and able to work effectively either independently or be highly-collaborative with peers.
13. Ability to work independently and resolve complex technical issues and identify root cause and recommend solutions to help resolve incidents quickly.
14. Experience in leveraging tomcat in public cloud platforms for efficient service provisioning, management and monitoring as well as Continuity of Business/Disaster recovery solutions in context of enterprise use case scenarios.
15. Working experience on projects involving multiple services/component integration – understating of full stack engineering & integration concepts.
16. Knowledge of Cloud, Cybersecurity, High Availability, Business Continuity, and Disaster.
17. Provide guidance/thought leadership along with hands-on implementation expertise to setup and configure new Kubernetes environments.
18. Design Kubernetes and container solutions, architectures and roadmaps.
19. Build, release and manage configurations of production systems.
20. Implement DevOps principles such as continuous integration, automation, and deployment with complex applications and solutions.
21. Deploy, automate, manage and monitor cloud based systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability and security.

23. Must be willing to participate in a 24x7 on-call pager rotation.
