Job Description:
Mandatory Skill: Tandem, Supply Chain, Web Service Testing
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Focus on Quality Assurance Testing of Supply Chain and Business Intelligence applications;
· Ensure that Quality Assurance process are in place - that balances cost and risks;
· Report overall QA status to QA Manger and Project Team;
· Manage all assigned projects;
· Manage QA risks and issues associated with all projects within the program and escalate to leadership;
· Enforce testing tools which speed up testing and reporting;
· Manage on boarding activities for QA Analysts;
· Manage system requests for onsite/offshore QA resources;
· Actively participate in all required Agile and project related meetings;
· Create program level Test Strategy and Test Plan;
· Review project features/user stories/Acceptance criteria/design updates and help team to identify high level test scenarios;
· Coordinate peer reviews for all Testing Deliverables;
· Consolidates test results across testers and presents them to project management;
· Coordinate program level testing status calls and defect triage meetings;
· Provide UAT support for the project team;
Related Experience
· 7+ years testing/quality engineering/SDET experience
· Experience with COBOL, SCOBOL, and TACL languages
· Experience with Pathway, DDL, TMF, FUP, Inspect and Control software
· Analysis/Critical thinking/Problem-solving skills.
· Familiar with web APIs and RESTful services
· Strong understanding of modern web architecture and system (microservices and web services)
· Extensive hands-on experience working with various SQL database or NoSQL data store
· Strong verbal and written communication skills as you will be presenting complex engineering concepts and project metrics to both technical and non-technical audiences
· Self-directed in daily responsibilities
· Has working knowledge of and implements customer specific systems and requirements
· Familiar with a variety of testing procedures including automated test tools, test script automation and metrics collection/assessment
