The IT Technical Analyst III – Integration Testing role serves a critical function as the key quality assurance advocate and engineer for complex integrations between web and mobile applications and internal enterprise systems. Ability to quickly grasp business needs and assess impact to IT operations and systems. Responsible for actively participating in the technical requirements analysis process, developing strong working relationships with business partners, and building knowledge in assigned area of technical expertise. The testing engineer must have the ability to successfully support multiple projects within the subject area. This includes the ability to build test plans, ensure functionality is testable, scalable, and repeatable. The testing engineer is responsible to complete all tasks and associated documentation within committed timeframes, and effectively communicating across teams and all levels of management.
Responsibilities:
• Work directly with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical stakeholders to understand requirements or needs, and actively participate in the testing and delivery of a technology solution and its required supporting artifacts.
• Analyze application and/or process workflow, and create data workflows, if appropriate.
Prepare integration testing plans.
• Ensures the technical requirements and design solution meets the business requirements through the use of thorough testing procedures and tools.
• Recognize scope limitations and raise potential scope issues as they relate to testability, while supporting the best technical solution design and approach.
• Identify issues and risks and work with the product management and technical teams to report and resolve critical issues.
• Works on medium to highly complex projects or enterprise-wide assignments.
• Participation in on-call rotations and/or after hours project activities as directed by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Requires at least 4 years’ experience as a QA engineer, business, data, or technical analyst.
• At least 4 years’ experience in a healthcare or hospital/medical related industry.

Required Skills and Experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of agile testing methodologies for interfaced systems including traditional healthcare systems and applications and web-based technologies with other 3rd party integrations.
• Strong project and time management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong database and reporting background are preferred.
• Detailed understanding of one or more of the following data integration standards: RESTful API, HL7, and HIPAA transaction sets.
• Extensive knowledge of one or more data integration middleware products and/or technologies such as HL7 interface engine, SFTP/FTP scripting, and ConnectR
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building-skills
• Advanced oral and written communication skills. This includes the ability to present highly technical concepts, solutions, and issues in a manner business managers can leverage to support their business operations
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in a complex and matrix oriented team environment; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment leveraging a globalized staffing strategy is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines.
• Strong command of key productivity applications, such as, Microsoft SharePoint, Access, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Desired Skills and Experience
• Other valued working knowledge and experience includes:
o More than one SDLC methodology with detailed knowledge of Waterfall, Agile Development, and Scrum
o Test management, test processes, automated and performance testing using tools such as Azure DevOps (VSTS), Microsoft Test Manager, and Postman
o Experience with healthcare registration systems such as GECB, MS4, Invision
o Experience with one or more electronic health records including Cerner Millennium, Powerchart, Epic Hyperspace, and Athena.
o Time management best practices
o Project management methodologies and tools (MS Project)
o Development and testing effort estimation techniques such as Agile Planning Poker
o Keeping technologically current and learning new technologies
• Solid project management fundamentals based upon PMI standards
